Cosmetic Acupuncture
Cosmetic acupuncture (also known as beauty acupuncture, wrinkle acupuncture and rejuvenating facial technique) offers a natural alternative to invasive cosmetic surgery such as botox or collagen injections. It is a very tender, gentle and safe method. It is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chinese medicine is based on an holistic approach and covers both the external treatment (wrinkles) and especially ‘the roots’, or the causes why wrinkles appear.
It helps with:
- Wrinkles
- Faded skin
- Double chin
- Circles under the eyes
- Puches under the eyes
- Pigment spots
Effects
Cosmetic acupuncture increases the collagen production, improves the blood circulation and the facial lymph. It prevents the creation of wrinkles, minimizes the appearance of fine wrinkles, helps with restructuring the skin and relaxes the facial muscles, improves the skin appearance and its elasticity.
How many treatments are needed
The number of the treatments is individual, it depends on the whole condition, range and the deepness of the wrinkles. Mostly it is recommended to have from 6 – 10 sessions, 1x – 2x weekly (in the meantime the client carries on with the facial acupressure). Each session takes approximately from one to two hours. Before the first treatment an entry diagnosis is carried out on the basis of the cause (’root’). During the treatment tiny needles are used (sterile, disposable) that treat the facial wrinkles. After the treatment it is common that the skin is a little red for a while, which is caused by an increased circulation of facial blood. The systematic treatment lies in addressing the causes of wrinkles and it is chosen among the herbal therapy, systematic acupuncture or the dietary recommendations.
The method is useful for both women and men of all ages.
